We are delighted to invite you on Tuesday, the 1st of August, to celebrate the release of our new Oklahoma DLC, by taking part in our latest World of Trucks event - Cruising Oklahoma! From mountain ranges and forests, over prairies and savannas to creeks and rivers, you'll explore the diverse landscape and economy of this incredible state.

We are asking our #BestCommunityEver to achieve the community goal of driving 111,000,000 miles (178,637,184km) while delivering cargoes to or from any city in Oklahoma.

While #CruisingOklahoma and enjoying the beautiful landscape it is also worth knowing that it is home to a wide variety of animals and insects, like the common honey bee and Black Swallowtail butterfly, two national state symbols that are important for Oklahoma's biodiversity. The state holds populations of bear and fox in the mountains, as well as the prairie dog and the iconic American bison in the prairie regions.

Oklahoma is also known as the "Sooner State", symbolizing the energetic, progressive can-do spirit. Truckers can look forward to exploring many new industries, like delivering iconic, yellow School Bus parts to the bus factory, Big Tires for machinery from the tire factories in Ardmore and Lawton, or Yard Trucks that are needed at Tulsa Airport.

During your journey through Oklahoma, you can look forward to many beautiful views and highlights such as:

  • Gloss Mountain State Park, unique natural landmark with mesas in north western Oklahoma
  • Tulsa, metropolis center for energy, aerospace, and technology
  • McAlester, picturesque historical city in East Oklahoma
  • Beavers Bend State Park, beautiful park in the mountainous region of south east Oklahoma
  • Hugo Lake Spillway, dam on the Kiamichi River in south east Oklahoma

As with past cruising events, you can use your own trailer and experience all these in the external market!

Oklahoma DLC is offering 10 fantastic new cities to explore, and we have a special reward for completing your personal goal, which will require you to deliver a job to or from all 10 cities of Oklahoma. All jobs for the event need to be 100 miles each (161 km) or more.

Join our journey with the newest DLC of American Truck Simulator and set out on a trip over high plains, prairies and low wetlands, while discovering the unique factories and industries of Oklahoma! Get ready for a terrific ride through the Sooner State!
